About Daniel

He started as a pupil in Most where he played for the local hockey club Hc Baník Most, until he was 14 years old when he was picked up by Hc Litvínov. There he played until he was 20 years old. He also played in youth teams and national teams of the Czech Republic. After prolonged health problems with his knee and allergies he had to end his hockey career. However, he stayed with hockey and started coaching young children.

Hockey Skills Coach

As a player he started skating at the age of 4 at the ice rink in Most, where his parents Daniel and Ivana together with his grandfather Karel brought him.

Since the age of 21 he has been coaching youngsters continuously for 18 years.

Don't exalt yourself, don't humiliate yourself.

Every year I try to improve on my skills such as mental support of the player, skating and puck handling techniques, passing, individual game actions, tactical stuff during games, video analysis and much more.

I have had internships in Sweden, Finland, America and Canada where I had the opportunity to attend SEAN SKINNER's Skills Coach School, which taught me great things.

As a big thank you to my whole family who always supported me in everything I did, as well as my teachers and coaches: Jiří Vyžďur and Petr Burd.

Then to my coaches in Litvínov, Mr. Josef Beránek and Mr. Vladimír Kýhos. Now I am working as a head coach and head trainer in the Italian club Hc Valrendena, I am a head coach in the Hockey Bunnies project and as a skills coach for the Italian U20 national team.

I am involved in individual coaching of young children to adult professionals. My work is extremely enjoyable and fulfilling and I will always do everything to achieve our dreams together.
